Centre for Gandhian Thought

MM International School (MMIS) has a dedicated “Centre for Gandhian Thought” where the students will be imbibed with the practical teachings of Gandhi’s philosophies. The fundamental purpose of this Centre would be to inculcate Gandhi’s messages in its students and staff. Gandhi's philosophy and wisdom continues to inspire thousands of people across the world. Even today, Gandhian principles hold key solutions for many crisis viz. - social, economic or political. Few of the teachings for instance are:

• There is more to life than simply increasing its speed.
• You must be the change you wish to see in the world.
• An ounce of practice is worth more than tons of preaching.

As a part of this, the school will have a Spinning (Charkha) Lab where the students will spend one hour every week spinning the charkha & dwell upon the Gandhian philosophy.
