Pedagogy & Learning
MMIS uses teaching methods that build habits of self-learning and reduce dependence on the teacher, with the emphasis on how to learn rather than what to learn. We take a multi-skill, learner-centred, activity-based approach paired with continuous and comprehensive evaluation, so teaching stays hands-on and focused on developing each child’s unique talents and interests.
Some of the creative teaching methods we use: worksheets, the project method, circle time, group discussions, problem solving, brainstorming, inductive methods, e-learning, school parliament, and case studies.
We recommend and use NCERT textbooks, alongside other relevant publications, for all classes as prescribed by CBSE. NCERT textbooks explain each topic in simple, easy-to-understand language with graphical representations that make concepts easy for children to grasp.
