Teaching Practices at MM International School

Teaching Practices

“Teaching not only for School, but for Life, is what MM International School (MMIS) follows and believes to focus in. We aim to provide students the important stepping stone to lead to success and to a world of competitive choice.”

Quality

Quality in a school determines how much and how well children learn and the extent to which their education translates into a range of personal, social and developmental benefits. It’s non-negotiable and cannot be compromised.

Pedagogy & Learning

MM International School (MMIS) uses techniques of teaching (pedagogy) that promotes habits of self-learning and reduces dependence on the teacher. The emphasis is on how to learn rather than what to learn. We would adopt a multi-skill, learner centered, activity based approach along with Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation.

The teaching practices at MMIS would be hands-on and activity based learning where the emphasis would be to develop the unique talents and interests of each young pupil.

Few of the creative teaching methods at MMIS:

  • Worksheets
  • Project method
  • Circle Time
  • Group Discussions
  • Problem Solving
  • Brain storming
  • Inductive Methods
  • E-learning methods
  • School Parliament
  • Case Studies

MM International School (MMIS) recommends and uses NCERT text books along with few other relevant publications for all classes as prescribed and recommended by CBSE. NCERT text books are designed such that each topic is explained in detail with simple and easy to understand language and with graphical representations that makes it simple for the kids to grasp and understand concepts easily.
