MMIS is home to a dedicated Centre for Gandhian Thought, where students engage directly with the practical wisdom of Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy. The Centre’s purpose is to instill Gandhi’s teachings in both students and staff \u2014 principles that continue to inspire people across the world and that still offer guidance through today’s social, economic, and political challenges.<\/p>

Among the teachings students encounter: “There is more to life than simply increasing its speed.” “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” “An ounce of practice is worth more than tons of preaching.”<\/p>

As part of this work, MMIS runs a Spinning (Charkha) Lab, where students spend an hour each week spinning the charkha and reflecting on Gandhian philosophy in practice.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
